I just had a period on my own in a LONG time. My cycle started Oct 1 and when I went to my dr and told him of my history of being SUPER irregular, he gave me prometrium for days 16-25 and then clomid for days 5-9 for the next cycle. He also charted for me that i should be ovulating days 10-14 roughly and on the 10th I had a sharp pain down there for like a minute then it went away. We're trying to have a baby and I want to know a few things: do you feel anything when you actually ovulate? If we have sex at the right time, how long until I know if I'm actually pregnant? Some feel something and some don't. I had ovulation pain each month. It's a sharp pain or cramping, for me it felt like I pulled a muscle and would last for several days. The duration of the pain also varies between women so a minute to several days of pain is normal. It takes about 2wks(give or take a few days) after ovulation to have hormones high enough to take a test, that's why they call it the two week wait.I get ovulation pains every month. For me it feels like a sharp pain that comes and goes throughout the day and lasts a few days. Everyone is different though. It takes about 10 days after implantion for an hpt to get results so basically two weeks from the day you ovulated. You should test after you miss a period to save yourself the stress and frustration of negative results. Good Luck#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
